Our monthly mentoring group seminars are held live in Calgary at the beautiful Jubilations Dinner Theatre, where Candice Graf gives an in-depth teaching of a particular aspect of the real estate investment business (such as "How to Find Motivated Sellers", "Determining True Market Value", "How to Buy With Other People's Money", "Powerful Negotiating skills", "Understanding & Using Contracts", "The Many Ways to Use Options", "Working With Foreclosures", "Maintaining a Positive Cash Flow", etc). These members-only meetings are far more than just a recital of statistics and trends. Candice has an amazing track record of success and freely shares her knowledge and experience with our members. In addition, although some of our members are new to real estate investing, many others have been buying / selling properties for 5, 10 or 15 years and freely share their knowledge with the group. Even the seasoned veterans tell us that they never fail to learn new skills and concepts at every session. Instructed personally by Candice Graf, each mentoring presentation is a down-to earth, candid analysis of a particular aspect of the business - complete with a case study of a transaction or situation that clearly illustrates that topic. A voracious reader, each month Candice reviews a book that has influenced her personal growth in business or life, and then gives it away in a draw. The second half of the evening is given over to the members who use an open mike to enthusiastically ask questions, share their successes, and network resources.
